I was born and raised and have worked in the Highlands all my life and have never felt any desire to live anywhere other than this beautiful part of Scotland. My occupations have included policeman, ski instructor, entertainer, coach driver and tour guide, working throughout the Highlands, giving me a range of experiences and insights involving places and people, locals and visitors. One of my main passions is music. I also have a particular interest in the history that has shaped the Highlands of today. At one time I lived on Culloden Battlefield for a period of five years. I hope that I can both inform and entertain you about my homeland and its colourful past.
