I am of Swedish origin, but moved to the UK over 25 years ago. I have been based in the Highlands of Scotland for over 10 years. 

I have a passion to discover, explore, and research the area where I live.

For a long time I have (over)shared my enthusiasm for history, quirky facts, folklore and legends, and peoples' stories to family and friends. Now I also share my knowledge with visitors from near and far. 

Learning and researching never really stops, and I am always on the lookout for stories, new and old, factual or mythical.  Whilst history and archaeology have always been of interest, I am also interested in people's stories from past and present - and there are so many interesting people that I come across when out and about in the Highlands.
