Born and brought up in the Highlands I am passionate about all things Scottish and just love any opportunity to share this with visitors. The beauty, the history, an insight into everyday life past and present and of course the legends. Nothing like a good story to give a flavour of the place and the people. I love to show Scotland’s historical landmarks as well as the many, many hidden gems that are out there to be discovered and enjoyed.

I was a teacher in the Highlands. I chose a career in education because I wanted to share knowledge, because I love working with people and because I like to entertain, they do say teaching is not far removed from acting! I love meeting new people.

My other interests include travel, walking, theatre, reading, cooking, entertaining and gardening.
