I am Scottish and have resided in various areas of Highlands and Islands for nearly 40 years and I am passionate about Scotland, it’s History and its people.
I am a retired Police Officer and I have worked throughout Scotland. This has provided me with a vast knowledge of the Highlands and other areas of Scotland and it would be fair to say I have friends and contacts throughout. You can imagine the tales I have to tell!
One of my greatest pleasures in life is showing visitors my wonderful country and passing on my knowledge in a friendly and professional way.
My favourite tipple is whisky and I have a good knowledge of the subject having been a Distillery Guide. I have conducted many tours in the various whisky regions of Scotland.
My hobbies include Football, Rugby, Fly Fishing, Golf and History.
I am a Scottish Tourist Guide Association Green Badge holder and I hold a Certificate in Higher Education (Post Grad ) with Merit in Tourist Guiding.
