I was born in Germany and studied Spanish and French  (translating/interpreting) at University. After spending one year at the Université de Nice in France I moved to Spain where I worked for 6 years in tourism and language teaching.

The Highlands have been my home for more than 25 years now and all the time I have been involved in teaching languages especially English for Speakers of other languages. History and culture are closely related to the language and so it is a privilege to share Highland heritage with visitors from many different nations.

How could one possibly resist the charm of the Highlands with the breath-taking landscapes, the mountains and glens, the rivers and lochs and the quaint little villages?
