Lorna Colvin-MacLean

Slainte! = Welcome!

I’m very happy you found my profile :-)

After many years in commerce and education, I finally landed my dream job as a Scottish Tourist Guide.

Born and raised in Glasgow, I have travelled far-and-wide around the globe and back again for work and leisure, but Scotland truly is my home-land and my heart-land.  And Yes, that does mean I can be an Outlander fan as well as being extremely diligent about researching Clan Histories!

Recently, I've been researching my own family history, which is deeply rooted in the Highlands, and I'd be delighted to design a personal home-coming tour for you. I know first-hand, that exploring your Scottish ancestry by visiting the places most significant to your family can be a personally enriching and unforgettable experience.

Scotland really is a dream destination - we can delve into the past or look at future developments, experience the urban buzz or rural solitude. I could make a very long list of fabulous locations and things to do - but what’s most important are your interests and priorities.

Please do get in contact and we can discuss how to make your holiday, visit or tour a positively memorable experience.

I am a proud ambassador for all that Scotland has to offer visitors to our shores - and in keeping with the Clan MacLean motto - it would indeed be my “honour” to be your guide.
