I have always lived in the Highlands, mostly in the Invergordon area but have a wide knowledge of the whole region. I hold the Inverness and Ross and Cromarty Studies qualification from Aberdeen University and have a special interest in, and knowledge of, the culture, music ( including Gaelic singing), history and geography of the Highlands. My particular enthusiasm is for local and family and clan history and I especially enjoy visiting castles and historic sights. As a former teacher I enjoy working with children when the opportunity arises.
