Scotland is a land steeped in History, Myths and Legends everywhere you look. From prehistoric standing stones to the more ‘modern’ battlefields and castles of the 14th and 18th Centuries, this rich land has plenty of secrets hidden with her misty Glens and around her dark, mysterious Lochs. We would be delighted to offer you the chance to experience the ‘hidden’ past with a journey through the countryside into Scotland’s history, geography and culture, by taking a coach/driver/rider tour like no other!

Specialising in bringing Scotland’s rich history to life through Re-enactment and Living History for many years, we understand that by combining history and entertainment with the needs of our guests, we can offer tailor-made tours that we would want to experience on our holidays.

Whether it is the chance to capture some amazing photographs, find your favourite whisky at any of the stunning distilleries, or simply have the chance to relax as you walk, ride or are driven around the length and breadth of Scotland, we guarantee that you will go home enriched with memories that will last a lifetime.

Day and half-day tours, year-round.  Specialities: Archaeology/Prehistory, Folklore & Music, Natural world, Scottish History

Born and brought up in the Highlands I am passionate about all things Scottish and just love any opportunity to share this with visitors. The beauty, the history, an insight into everyday life past and present and of course the legends. Nothing like a good story to give a flavour of the place and the people. I love to show Scotland’s historical landmarks as well as the many, many hidden gems that are out there to be discovered and enjoyed.

I was a teacher in the Highlands. I chose a career in education because I wanted to share knowledge, because I love working with people and because I like to entertain, they do say teaching is not far removed from acting! I love meeting new people.

My other interests include travel, walking, theatre, reading, cooking, entertaining and gardening.

Gisela Cumming CPD

½ day / 1 day / extended / year-round

Whilst enjoying the breathtaking scenery of Scotland, we will entertain you with enthralling stories of the people who once lived in the places we visit.  And, if you are eager to discover more about Highland dress, Highland games and other customs particular to Scotland, we will certainly satisfy your curiosity.

My photo shows one of my favourite Highland views, looking down Loch Shiel. By the loch is the Glenfinnan Memorial, commemorating the start of the 1745 Jacobite Uprising under Prince Charles Edward Stuart.

Day Coach and half-day; Driver Guiding

Specialities: Driver Guide, Castles, Prehistory
I have a great interest in the early Celtic peoples of Scotland and that romantic era before the Battle of Culloden when clan chiefs controlled the Highlands. My specialities are castles, battle sites and clan lands. I wrote the guidebook for Dunnottar Castle and the Colin Baxter book on Clans and Tartans. Having spent many years in the Highlands, I now live in the Borders and provide driver/guiding all over Scotland. Winter months are spent arranging holidays for those visiting their clan lands or staying in Scottish castles. I write an occasional blog: Living with Clans and Castles.
